‘Uttar-Adhunik Kavya: 21vi Sadi Ki Kavitayein’ is a unique collection of poetic works written in the post-modern period, as its name suggests. Undoubtedly, these works are the poems of the 21st century. In the 21st century, literature has undergone unprecedented changes due to the rapidity of the means of communication and the increase of human interaction. Hindi literature is no exception to this. Since the end of the twentieth century, ‘Uttar Adhunik’ is being discussed. Some journals have also brought out their special issues focused on ‘Uttar-Adhunik’. In fact, postmodernity is a post-modernity situation. This is a situation in which the whole world has shrunk into one huge market. Now technology is everything. Communication technologies like Internet, Google, Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger and Twitter have brought epoch-making changes in the development of Hindi literature. That is to say that the review and revision of the period-division of the history of Hindi literature has become inevitable.
